iPhone Anyone

iPhones and September. Kind of like peanut butter and jelly. They go hand in hand for Apple and thisis where Apple makes its yearly announcement for the iPhones for the upcoming year. The new models are the XS, XS Max, and XR. I will go through the basics first.

  1. The top end phone is expensive
  2. There is really nothing HUGE here, incremental-Yes
  3. For 0.7″ bigger display, it costs $100 more
  4. Apple now thinks “budget” is $750

Now before you Apple purists even think about saying anything to me, let it be know that I currently own an X and was one of the first. I was not happy because Apple purposely slowed down my iPhone 6+, but never the less am quite happy with it.

Worth It?

The X was a big step forward, but these are not. Apple has lost its second place crown in phone sales and needs to find a way to keep its shareholders happy so you are paying for it. You just better hope that your 401K has Apple in its portfolio so you can say that you are investing in yourself.
